Video-based Counseling
I offer video-based appointments to adults only.
Video-based appointments have reduced privacy concerns and the stress of waiting rooms, driving, parking, snow storms, and mud season!
I use a HIPAA secure service called Simple Practice for our video connection.
Fees
Initial phone consultation: free
First visit/assessment: $200
Typical Follow-up visit: $150
Scheduling and Payment
All scheduling and payment happens through Simple Practice.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that sessions cancelled with less than 24-hour notice will result in a $75 fee that is not covered by insurance.
Payment
I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield.
I see clients with other insurances as either an “out of network” provider or through self-pay. I accept payment by credit card at the time of service.
If you have a PPO insurance plan, you may be able to obtain reimbursement from your insurance company for a portion of my professional fees. If you would like to do this, I will provide you with a receipt that contains all of the necessary information for reimbursement which you can submit to your insurance company. If you are interested in this option, it is best to call your insurance company before the first visit to verify whether you have out of network benefits and what the reimbursement rates will be. They may ask you for the billing codes (CPT) codes that I will be charging. These include 90791, 90834, 90832, and 90837. Please feel free to ask me additional questions about this.
